Why Our Constitution Matters
Before asking for the trust of the Pakistani people, Awam League first had to earn the trust of its own members. Our constitution is the foundation of that trust.
It establishes how decisions are made, how leaders are elected, how funds are managed, and what rights every member possesses. It is not a formality — it is the framework that ensures Awam League remains a genuinely democratic party, accountable to its members rather than to any individual or group.
We publish our constitution publicly and in full, because we believe transparency is not optional. Citizens have the right to know exactly how the parties asking for their vote actually function.

What the Constitution Establishes
Six chapters governing how Awam League is organised, how it makes decisions, and how it holds itself accountable.
Chapter I

Chapter II
Party Councils
The organisational structure of the party — from the Supreme Council at the top to Village and Mohalla Councils at the grassroots. Each council has defined functions, powers, and responsibilities.
Chapter III
Party Organisation and Conduct of Business
How office-bearers are elected, how meetings are called, how elections are conducted, and how the party manages its day-to-day affairs with accountability and transparency.
Chapter IV
Special Party Organizations
The party’s specialised wings — from the Awam Kissan Wing to the Women Wing to the Ulema & Mashaikh Wing — representing the full diversity of Pakistani society.
Chapter V
Finance and Accounts
How party funds are collected, managed, audited, and reported — including mandatory submission to the Election Commission of Pakistan.
Chapter VI
Miscellaneous
Provisions for constitutional amendments, rule-making, and the removal of difficulties — ensuring the constitution can evolve while its core principles remain protected.
Awam League is a centre-left progressive, moderate, democratic, and reformist political party. We cherish and believe in the fundamental ideological path.
